How much love can a person give to others? Or one person or two people? How many times can a person really fall in love? And if your answer is more than once, how many soulmates do we truly have? Do we really have that one person, the one that completes us...our other half? Our BETTER HALF for that matter. Or is that just an idea that has been implanted in our minds due to Hollywood and the typical love movies and love stories. Are we destined to have a few heartaches in order to arrive at our goal and ultimately appreciate the journey it took us to get to them. Or is it a simple "love at first sight" ? Are we capable of giving ourselves completley to another without the constant temptation of those surrounding us?
I believe we can misinterpret what love is. We may try to use the word love for a summer fling, an infatuation, or a relationship based on nothing but lust. Love needs no explanation, its an action. Putting another's well being before our own. Love does not judge and is blind. I believe we have one true match and when we dont end up with who we are ment to be with, heartaches and break ups occur. Love at first sight is not real and merely a chemical reaction that takes place in our brain. Love does not develop in an instance, it develops overtime and is a choice. I believe 100% that someone can give themselves completley to one person. Once someone realizes that the temptation they feel is not worth jepordizing their relationship (if its a good relationship), than that is when they can fully give themselves to another.
